Pastor Anthony Cook

Treasurer

Pastor Anthony M. Cook is a native of Phenix City, AL.
His education includes an Associate in Liberal Arts from Chattahoochee Valley Community College in Phenix City, AL; a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Services and Psychology from Troy University; and a Master of Science Degree in Religious Studies, with a concentration in Divinity from Beulah Heights University.
Rev. Cook has been serving and ministering for over twenty-four years. He began serving as an ordained deacon at the age of eighteen, and in 2004, Rev. Cook preached his initial sermon and began to serve as the youth pastor of Concord Missionary Baptist Church in Salem, AL for seven (7) years. He later served as an associate minister at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Phenix City, AL, and served as the pastor of Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Seale, AL for three (3) years faithfully.

Rev. Cook serves as the Director of Housing Ministry with Alabama Rural Ministry, in Opelika, AL. He has been married to his lovely wife Taiwana for twenty-one (21) years; together they have two children.

Rev. Cook is a man who loves God, His people, and His Word. Rev. Cook enjoys spending time with family; relaxing, fishing, basketball, cooking, reading, and learning whatever he can to share with others. He enjoys preaching and teaching the Word of God with power, conviction, and simplicity at every opportunity that avails without compromise.
